Latest Adamant And Runescape Dragons’ News In Runescape

The monsters, Adamant and Runescape dragons, are fresh from Runescape and ready for battle. Face these new monsters, delve beneath Brimhaven and jaunt through the World Gate to Kethsi in high-level combat.

Runescape news

Adamant dragons can be found in Brimhaven Dungeon. They’re formidable foes, so you’ll need high combat levels and anti-dragon breath equipment to survive. You’ll find more dragons behind magical barriers – passable at 70, 80 and 90 Slayer. Adamant dragons are available as a slayer assignment from Kuradal or Morvran.

Runescape dragons are farther away Mount Firewake on the world of Kethsi. This new area is only accessible through the World Gate south of Eagle’s Peak, once you’ve completed Fate of the Gods and Ritual of the Mahjarrat. The only slayer master who will assign them is Morvran. To stand a chance against these mightiest of monsters, you’ll – of course – need anti-dragon gear. It’s also wise to come packing dragonbane ammo, as anything else will deal greatly reduced damage until the Runescape dragons’ armour plating is breached.

Runescape dragons also have a flight phase – all the more reason to come geared for range – and an enrage phase where their maximum damage increases with each attack. Regular Runescape dragons are challenging enough, but elite Runescape dragons can also spawn on their death. These have all the deadly abilities of their kin, with a significant boost in power – and more lucrative loot.

For two weeks following today’s release, there are increased spawn rates on both adamant and Runescape dragons, and an increased chance for elites to spawn when Runescape dragons are killed. There’s also twice the chance to get an adamant or Runescape dragon slayer assignment.

Earn new rewards such as upgrades to make level 90 power boots, a dragon slaying ring and rare, prestigious cosmetics. Learn forgotten lore, too, as you uncover the lost secrets of the Dragonkin. This week we’ve also got two new bank boosters in Solomon’s Store, which available free to members and details of the week’s streams and news on the winners of our recent community competitions.

RuneLabs’ Slayer Belt Has been Updated

The RuneLabs has been Updated, and the new RuneLabs can be available for every Runescape fans. Be prepared for every encounter with the slayer belt – one of the first ideas chosen from RuneLabs.

Runescape news

Proposed by Dragonsseed, the slayer belt expands the tool belt you know and love with new slots. These hold specialist slayer equipment – such as a rock hammer, fungicide or the Ouroboros pouch – so you’ll always have the right tool to strike a killing blow.

Previously consumable or charge-limited items added to the belt will become unlimited, too – never worry about running out again! You can also spend slayer points to add the bonecrusher, charming imp, seedicide and herbicide to the belt, saving you time and keeping your inventory clear.

If you haven’t visited RuneLabs for a while, now’s a great time to do so. This month, we’re looking for high-level mobs, which is a chance to let your imaginations run riot. Whatever ruthless foes, exotic beasts or terrifying monstrosities your minds can conjure, we want to hear about them!

Well, enjoy your streamlined slayer assignments now, and look out for another RuneLabs update next week, you will meet adamant and rune dragons!

The Runescape News Behind the Scenes

Behind the Runescape Scenes is a sneak peek at the planned game updates that we hope to launch in the coming month.

In Runescape Solomon’s Store, there are two more bank boosters – free to members – and a set of overrides to match the Vitality Suit: a cape, two-handed sword, two-handed crossbow and staff.

There are also challenge gems that allow you to host your own competitions: staked or just for fun, for skilling or combat. Treasure Hunter has some new headpiece add-ons for your skilling outfits, too.

If you missed our Developer Q&A on the changes in the RuneScape Team, you can catch it again by video.

You can catch our latest podcast on YouTube, too – all about Tuska. You can also keep up with our podcasts on PodBean or iTunes.

This, however, is only a plan – not a promise – that a particular update will be released in a particular way or at a particular time. To get you the highest quality updates as quickly as possible, we usually keep on tweaking and testing right up until the moment before release, so sometimes things change or take a bit longer than expected. We aren’t afraid to change our plan if necessary, as we will never launch an update before it is ready.

Runescape News: Resizable Mode Has Available

It is so long time waiting for the resizable mode, and fortunately, the day has finally arrived. Resizable mode is here.

You can enable resizable mode in game by navigating to your options tab and selecting the resizable mode button. Enabling resizable mode will immediately expand the game to fit the size of your client window, letting you see the Old School world like never before.

Runescape news

Frame rate

As you’d likely expect, making your Old School window larger with resizable mode enabled will cause the game to use up more processing power. If you see a drop in frame rate your best bet is simply to make your client a little smaller. It is worth noting that Old School does not use your graphics card. A powerful graphics card does not impact your FPS at all.

Future additions to resizable

There have been a number of requests for changes and additions to resizable since we have started showing it off. To name just a few, having the interface scale with your client, adding fog and anti-aliasing. Our goal with the release of resizable mode was to get the basic functionality of making your game window bigger into Old School. This release can act as the foundation for future additions to resizable mode but for now we are sticking with the basics.

We will be keeping an eye out for any and all feedback so we can make changes and create additional features somewhere down the line. Do not hesitate to let us know what you think!

Oblivinite resizable t-shirt

We recently got in touch with Oblivinite, a name many of you will be familiar with. Oblivinite is a very talented fella who has been making some very popular Old School comics for several months now. We asked him if he would like to design a t-shirt to go in the merch store to celebrate the release of resizable mode and he excitedly agreed! This is what Oblivinite managed to create.

This t-shirt is now available from the RuneScape merch store! Whether you’re excited about resizable mode, a fan of Oblivinite or just want an awesome RuneScape t-shirt, be sure to check out the Oblivinite resizable mode t-shirt.

Thank you to your waiting, and hope you will not be disappointed this resizable mode. If your have any views please contact with us by leaving comments below, or following us on twitter.

How To get to Runescape Tuska

If you want to get to Tuska in Runescape, just access the new lodestone teleport that takes you straight onto her back by automatically unlocked. Once you’re there, speak to a representative of the four factions present – Armadyl, Saradomin, Zamorak and the Godless – and pledge yourself to one of these.

Runescape news

The event plays out hourly, as a twenty-minute D&D for 1-10 players. You can start in any of three ways:

  • Use the Grouping System to make a team of people you know, then talk to Wizard Chambers on Tuska’s back.
  • To queue for a random group, click on the edge of the island closest to Tuska’s back.
  • To play solo, start a group of one through the Grouping System, and speak to Chambers.

Note that the encounters scale in accordance with the number of players in the group.

As the event plays out, you will jump between four islands – orbiting fragments of worlds that Tuska has destroyed. On each, you’ll skill or fight to gather divine energy – click the information icon on the interface at the top of the screen if you need to know what to do. Doing so will charge your god spear, and earn you reward points to spend.

You’ll spend 5 minutes on visiting the islands in random order. Besides, you’ll need to charge up your god spear by at least 10% to reach Tuska’s head over the course of the islands, where you’ll strike her a blow, earning victory points for your faction.
